A great day had by all

We all had a great day out on the 22nd of May at the YMCA Fun Run Festival sponsored by Greene & Co. and we raised an impressive total of over £10,000 for our chosen charity of the year Action Duchenne.

All Greene & Co. hands were on-deck to set up and run stalls - including exciting children’s activities such as beat the goalie, Splat the Rat and Sumo wrestling.

Adults and children alike enjoyed delights of the cake, sweet, book and Jumble stalls, and the nail and face painting stalls were fully booked all day.

Feedback from Action Duchenne
“The festival yesterday was a roaring success! Thank you to all at Greene and Co. for all their efforts yesterday and also to the tremendous efforts of the marketing team for organising such a mammoth event in the short time that you had. Action Duchenne spoke to many people on the day about the condition and even met a family with an 8 year old boy suffering with the disease; the family have agreed to stay in touch with Action Duchenne which is priceless.” Action Duchenne

Feedback from the YMCA

“Greene and Co. stands were fantastic on Sunday and we received many comments saying how much the children enjoyed the extra activities.” Hayley Ballard, Race Director

“Greene & Co. contributed so much to making this year’s YMCA Festival the best to date, demonstrating that they really care about the local community and local charities. I hope that this is the start of a partnership that will last for years to come!” Jim Shepley, Programme Director.

”Those milling about the park for the festival, sponsored by Greene and Co. estate agents, enjoyed a picnic with food from local sellers or had their nails painted in return for a charity donation, while youngsters were occupied with rides and inflatable games”. Claire Wiseman London 24
